Meet Natalie
I am a masters student in the department of Planning. My research interests focus on climate adaptation and center on the effectiveness of Ontario’s climate policy, specifically on the urban heat challenges to communities. I hope to further understand the pros and cons of existing policies, and what are the possible future practical implications.
Outside of school, I enjoy indoor hobbies, including journaling, watching sci-fi shows, and cooking. On long holidays, I enjoy going on trips and exploring new cultures.
Where is your go to lunch spot on or around campus? What do you order?
My go to lunch spot on campus is Seoul Soul. It is a cute Korean restaurant and I adore their kimchi fried rice with cheese. With the amount of times I have ordered that, I have learnt to make my own at home as well.
If you were to choose your superpower, what would it be?
It would be pausing time, as I would have enough time to rest, work and enjoy my hobbies. I could also take my time to learn, educate myself and make wiser decisions.
If you could spend the rest of your life doing only one thing, what would it be?
I guess it’d be reading. I would be able to enjoy different stories setting and never get bored from the same plots.
