Update Session:
Are you on a dGSA? Are you a GSA-Grad Committee Rep? Due to a cancellation of our May Training Event, we are excited to get this semester started with our first dGSA Social and updated training for Spring 2022 at our very own Grad House. Please join us on June 7 @ 4:00 – 5:00 PM. This will be an excellent opportunity to connect with other dGSA and GSA-Grad Committee Reps across the campus, to review how the GSA can support your dGSA initiatives/Committee goals and learn about the resources that the GSA can offer you and your team. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email the GSA-UW Student Engagement Coordinator at gsa-engagement@uwaterloo.ca.

Territorial Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we work on the traditional territory of ‎ the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes ten kilometers on each side of the Grand River. We acknowledge that we work on these territories as beneficiaries of settler colonialism. We also acknowledge that members of our UWaterloo community live on Indigenous territories around the world.

This statement is only a small step in the process of reconciliation. Decolonization requires systemic change. The GSA-UW is committed to this effort.
