Join the Graduate Student Association and Emma Rain Smith from the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre in our first collaborative beading workshop! Participants will learn about the significance of Indigenous beadwork and get to practice/learn basic beading skills. No prior experience necessary.
All students are welcome to join this free workshop, and supplies will be provided. Registration is required, so we welcome you to register here.
We acknowledge that we work on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes ten kilometers on each side of the Grand River.
