My name is Elham Mohammadi, and I am a first-year Ph.D. student in environmental studies (SEED). I have worked for several years as an entrepreneur, manager, and lecturer in different organizations. These experiences have helped me gain valuable planning, management, and leadership skills: from strategic to operational planning. I hope to have the opportunity to use these experiences to serve our community by pursuing excellence in sustainable governance and service delivery. I would like to support developing a structure that can ensure all present and future graduate students can access quality services. I have done my master’s here at UW and have heard different perspectives on how we need to promote positive, systemic changes. I have thought about how we need to plan for these changes, and now, I am ready to help advocate for your concerns and stand for different voices in our community.
