Sara Drisdelle (she/her) is an MSc student in the Department of Kinesiology, with a specialization in Neuroscience. Her current research focuses on the influence of acute high-intensity exercise on brain function across age groups. Sara holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia University, where she also received a Scotia Scholar’s Undergraduate award from the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation for her research work. Sara is a recipient of the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) Banting and Best Canada Graduate Scholarship for her Master’s thesis at UW.
As the Director of Student Engagement, Sara is working to continuously build the relationship between students and the GSA, by providing guidance, assistance and awareness of opportunities from the student-level to the faculty-level.
