GSA SLC Grad Lounge

The GSA has offices in the newly open Student Life Centre (SLC), including a Grad Lounge (SLC 3216), which can be used as a study and event space.

Under current COVID-19 restrictions, occupancy of the space is limited, but we have made the space available for  graduate students! Pre-registration is required.

SLC 3216 Grad Lounge Booking

Register for your spot for study times here. Bookings will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. Each booking is for the whole 3-hour time window. Registration is limited to one spot per person. Please check in at the GSA Office (SLC 3222) prior to entering the Grad Lounge.

Rules and COVID-19 Safety Restrictions

Registration will require agreeing to the COVID protocols to access the space, including all relevant University of Waterloo rules. Occupancy is limited to 9 people at a time. Face coverings will be required. Eating and drinking will be allowed in the Grad Lounge, when the face covering can be removed. Physical distancing of 2 meters should be maintained. The sink in the Grad Lounge can be used. Please clean up after yourself, including sanitizing the table you used after you are done. The GSA will ensure the room is disinfected after each day of use.
