Tyler Hampton

Director (Corporate Secretary)

Tyler (he/him) is a PhD student in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. He is a student in the Collaborative Water Program and serves as chair of the Students of the Water Institute Graduate Section. His research concerns the protection of drinking water supplies in Canada’s forests through sustainable forest management. Part of the larger NSERC forWater Network, his role is in modelling forest ecosystems and hydrology to determine the effects of different forest harvesting strategies, as well as how wildfire affects water quality.

Tyler serves as the Corporate Secretary for the GSA.
